Musings of An Old Man

ABOUT COMMUNICATION

Failure to communicate is the cause of untold problems.

Communication is the communicator’s responsibility.

The communicator should speak in syllables not in sentences.

If the communicatee doesn’t understand, the communicator has not communicated.

Make sure that the communicatee understands.

Ask the communicatee, “Do you understand?

Sadly, after all this, you still may not have communicated.

Speak so the deaf guy can understand you, then everyone can.

Too many public speakers are “microphone illiterate.”

Of course the speaker doesn’t need the Mic. The audience needs it.

Speak to the microphone, not all around it.

You haven’t spoken to the Mic unless you hear your voice coming back from the room.
